Sara Easterly is an author of children’s literature. Her first children’s book, Lights, Camera, Fashion! for ArtLab: Fashion Studio, illustrated by Jaime Temairik, was released in May 2007 and is available through Chronicle Books. Awards include:

Additionally, Sara has published several magazine articles and is currently writing a middle-grade/tween graphic novel series that she's working on with illustrator Jaime Temairik.

Sara holds a bachelor degree in Journalism with a minor in English from Colorado State University, as well as a Writing Certificate from the University of Washington, UW Extension.

A former regional advisor for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators of Western Washington and one of two SCBWI Members of the Year for 2009, Sara is actively involved in the Pacific Northwest writing community.

An author publicist, as well, Sara handles publicity for authors such as 2007 Newbery Honor Medalist Kirby Larson and New York Times bestselling author and 2009 Golden Kite winner Bonny Becker. She also handles PR for readergirlz and book publisher Wizards of the Coast, supporting New York Times bestselling authors R.A. Salvatore, Margaret Weis, and Tracy Hickman.
